2016 and before…

We have had a few exciting things going on before Dogs in Mind went live in 2017…

Check out what have we achieved as individuals and a group of friends!

Back in 2016 Lynn and Santa visited Galgos Del Sol rescue based in Spain.

The Galgo Español or Spanish greyhound is an ancient breed and a member of the sighthound family. Despite being called a “greyhound”, the Spanish Galgo is not closely related to the English or Irish Greyhound, the lineage of the two breeds being different. In 2007, Tina Solera, her husband and two young children moved to Spain to escape the infamous British weather. Always an animal lover, Tina could not tolerate the treatment of the Spanish Galgos, a traditional hunting dog breed, and decided to devote herself to their rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming.

We had an incredible week with Galgos and dedicated volunteers back in 2016…

What volunteering at Galgos del Sol looks like – a week with Galgos and Podencos.
